How to firmware upgrade 4500 or 5500 switch
Update a bootrom:
- tftp 192.168.0.1 - get new-bootrom.btm - boot bootrom new-bootrom.btm This will update Bootrom on unit 1. Continue? [Y/N] y Upgrading Bootrom, please wait... Upgrade Bootrom succeeded!
Update a boot loader:
- dir delete /unreserved bootloader-version.app - tftp 192.168.0.1 - get new-bootloader-version.app - boot boot-loader new-bootloader-version.app The specified file will be booted next time on unit 1!
Update a web resource package:
- delete /unreserved old-webpackage.web - tftp 192.168.0.1 - get new-webpackage.web - boot web-package new-webpackage.web main
Verify a configuration:
